Verdict

MOCACHA was slowly away and then ran green on debut at Windsor but stayed on nicely once finding his stride. The extra furlong should suit and William Haggas' gelding looks the one to beat in this opener ahead of Peacemaker, who didn't build on a promising debut at Newbury on her second start. Newcastle third The Doyle Machine might not appreciate a further step up in trip but there should be more to come from Miss Lucy Jane, who showed her inexperience on her introduction.
