Verdict

Plenty of guesswork needed with a handful of handicap debutants on show. LONE FOOT LADDIE is the token selection as he showed a bit of promise in what looked a competitive maiden at Kempton last time. Charles Tyrwhitt has disappointed since a debut third at Warwick in April but Cape Explorer should finish closer on the back of a fifth over C&D. Sir Lexington and Queen Cassiopeia are others to note handicapping for the first time but Lady Percy was below par at Salisbury last time having won at the same track before that. Kempton winner Hill Of Dreams hasn't raced since March but get involved if back to her best.
