Verdict

The Hamptons is attempting to record back-to-back victories in this race and returned to winning ways when edging out Statue Of Dreams at Bellewstown last month. He's now 12lb higher than when successful 12 months ago, however, and may have trouble confirming that form with third DIAMOND FIRE, who enjoys a 14lb pull in the weights and generally comes to hand around this time of year. Teachers Choice has dropped to an attractive mark and could be interesting if re-invigorated by the sea air but the handicapper has reassessed Desert Ben following last month's near miss at Naas.
