Verdict

This unique track isn't everyone's cup of tea so it's always worth giving horses with form on the beach a second look. RICHELIEU's overall profile is modest but he beat If Paradise over 7f here last year and enjoys a massive turnaround in the weights with Lovestoned than when fourth to Tom Hogan's gelding at Naas in July. Wexford second Star Links is partnered by the in-form Seamie Heffernan but races without his usual cheekpieces, while Kristal Xenia has disappointed this year though is dropped in grade here.
