Verdict

Shalaman has been extremely busy and was due to run here last night where he was likely to start a short price. Whatever happens there this is much tougher and Jazz Girl finished just in front of him at the Curragh on Saturday. Dermot Weld won this last year and Show Court should make a bold bid after another fine run in very testing ground at Galway when Plinth was just behind. MAGGIE DALTON hasn't had much racing but her overall form is strong and there's probably more to come. She looked a little unlucky in-running at Roscommon last time and is handed the vote. Castle Guest has really found his form but an 8lb rise for his victory at Gowran may scupper his hat-trick bid while Absolutlyfantastic returned from a spell of jumping to land a minor handicap over the course and distance and is just 4lb higher.
