Verdict

Marchese Marconi enters the fray in good shape having won easily over hurdles at Galway, though he has to concede weight all round. DIGEANTA has already proved himself extremely versatile and there should be plenty more to come. He's been performing well in strong company over timber and has plenty of pace for this so gets the vote. Diplomat has generally performed at a good level and led for a long way over hurdles at Galway but Sizing Italy looks destined for fences though he was beaten only a nose on the Flat at Tramore in May.
