Verdict

Aidan O'Brien won this in 2005/6 and will be expecting to take it again with Luxurious, a daughter of Galileo. After an opening run at Galway she took on her stablemate Spin at the Curragh but couldn't quite match the pace of that rival and had to settle for second spot. She can continue on the upgrade but FILE AND PAINT made such an encouraging start behind Treasure Beach at Gowran Park a week ago that Jim Bolger's filly can put that experience to good use and take this. Praise Be is improving with each run and there was plenty to like about her close second to Hanginthebalance at Gowran Park while David Wachman has a couple of beautifully-bred newcomers entered in Ideal and Chrysanthemum and the market should prove a guide to their respective chances.
