In depth

Verdict

Maundy Money has really found his feet on fast ground and bids for a hat-trick after victories at Roscommon and here on Monday. A 5lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run, a remark that also applies to last week's Dundalk winner Gatamalata, who has finally got his head in front and is on a very lowly mark. Amazing Star has won once in 37 starts on the Flat on Turf but almost doubled that tally at Leopardstown and should get involved while it's about time Pivotal Rock was losing his maiden tag on Turf and can reverse recent Gowran running with Roja Dove. BADGER DALY looks to have dropped to a winnable mark and found 1m2f too far at Roscommon so with Ronan Whelan's claim a big help he's taken to come out on top in a tricky handicap.
