Verdict

Gordon Elliott wastes no time in bringing out BONDAGE under a 4lb penalty for his narrow victory over Face Facts at Sligo on Sunday and a quick double looks on the cards though there are several dangers. Battling Boru is undoubtedly one of them though his victory in May at Sligo was over the minimum trip. Headford Flyer has run poorly on the Flat recently but his earlier form over hurdles and fences make him a threat over a trip that suits while six-times Flat winner Zaralabad is getting the hang of jumping hurdles and looks well enough treated. Shrapnel has been a short-priced beaten favourite in five of his last six starts so punters will have become wary of him though he found 3m beyond him last time after a narrow defeat over this C&D.
