Verdict

The Real Article beat just two opponents for his victory on the Flat at Wexford in August but he's been running at the highest level over hurdles with two Grade 2s to his credit last autumn. Parkers Mill takes a giant leap in trip having finished a close fourth in the Irish Lincoln before finding Group 3 company too hot over 1m2f at the Curragh. Useful hurdler Golden Sunbird has been going very well over fences and won a couple of bumpers in his early days but it's OLYMPIAD who gets the nod. Dermot Weld's charge was having just the third race of his career when beating Zafarqand over 1m4f at Gowran and the hugely expensive son of Galileo can start making up for lost time before going on to better things.
