Verdict

Schindler's Gold disappointed on his three starts over fences last summer and has let supporters down on several occasions since his early promise. French recruit Kotkidy attempted to make all in a four-year-old hurdle at Punchestown but was headed at the second last when taking a crashing fall. Sharadi won three times over timber including at Galway in August. He will be a threat if transferring that form to the bigger obstacles while What's New will have benefited for his recent debut over fences at Down Royal. Edward O'Grady looks to hold the key to this with JUDGE ROY BEAN and Clicksnmortar. The latter will love the fast going and is a decent performer over timber but Judge Roy Bean is a Grade 3 winner over hurdles who has the scope to become a very useful performer over the bigger obstacles.
