Verdict
A smart staying hurdler, CARLITO BRIGANTE was always going well when making a successful start to his chase career at Killarney. He looks to have a bright future in this sphere and can defy the penalty here. Last month's C&D winner Prince Ludovic is another with plenty of scope while Tackmaster had already won a point-to-point and a hurdle before scoring over track and trip over fences and should be thereabouts again. But a bigger danger may be the mare Dazzling Susie, who was second to dual Royal Ascot winner Simenon over hurdles at Cork last month and won by 21 lengths on her chasing bow at Clonmel.
