Verdict

Striking Force, who last ran over hurdles when landing a Down Royal maiden a year ago, has been in very good form on the Flat this summer and must have a chance on his return to timber. Heavenly Bound won a Roscommon handicap early last month and though now on a 13lb higher mark he's been running well enough to make his presence felt. Rockofinspiration defied several mistakes to win a C&D maiden a fortnight ago and will need to jump better but First Beauty returned to form at Naas and wasn't harshly punished by the assessor but the one to be on looks to be POINT THE TOES, who stepped up to 2m5f at Tramore on Sunday, gaining a smooth success, and is just 2lb higher for this.
