In depth

Verdict

Sin Palo has been disappointing since making a winning debut in a bumper and Ballyadam Approach hasn't shown much under Rules after landing a point-to-point. Griesenau has ability but has jumped poorly on his last two starts while Mallowney ran poorly in a bumper last month after two promising efforts over timber. E MAC was totally unfancied on her debut over timber at Tipperary but very nearly defied her huge starting price when beaten narrowly by Pageboy. A repeat of that would be good enough and there should be plenty more to come. Spring Lane looks an obvious threat on his hurdling debut having won a Downpatrick bumper by 19l in March.
