In depth

Verdict

Young Jackie posted a better effort when stepped up to today's trip at Lingfield last week and another bold bid is expected. However, at the other end of the handicap, topweight IRONS ON FIRE looks to have the stronger form. He was third over 1m2f here a week ago when beaten less than a length and Lee Carter's charge can return to winning ways today with a claimer's 7lb allowance making the difference. Chasin' Rainbows has a couple of wins over shorter trips to her credit and June's Yarmouth winner, Five Hearts, is preferred to the frustrating Tartan Gunna. Uncle Roger could prove best of the rest.
