    Verdict

    DUBAI PHANTOM got off the mark over C&D back in September. David Simcock's charge is only 3lb higher in the weights here and can put recent modest form behind him to score now back at this track. Leyte Gulf won over the extended 2m at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start and seems to do all his winning at that track these days and Sunny Spells saves his best for Southwell, winning over 1m6f there last time. Beaubrav won over hurdles in October and could figure after a good effort over 1m2f here recently.
