      Verdict

      Laaheb was strongly fancied in a similar Listed contest over C&D earlier this month, but could only manage third and has yet to match the form of last September's Cumberland Lodge victory at Ascot so far this year. He did have Precision Break three lengths behind last time, however, but Barbican looks a real threat as he'd registered a hat-trick of middle-distance victories before being well beaten by the potentially smart Beaten Up at Newbury last month. Listed winner CEILIDH HOUSE has had just the three starts this season and her best effort came on her reappearance at Warwick when third to subsequent Group 1 winner Timepiece. Ralph Beckett's filly had today's rival Askaud behind over 1m2f at Doncaster earlier this month and she gets the vote with today's longer trip expected to bring improvement.
