SABRE LIGHT has won two of his last three races and can once again land himself in the winners enclosure with both Piermarini and Coole Dodger worth noting. The selection has wins at Great Leighs and Kempton to his credit this winter and had three other turf wins during the summer months. He is difficult to dismiss as he always runs his race and although he has crept up the weighs as a consequence of his success he can be certain to go close once again. Piermarini is less exposed than most and ran a personal best when finishing third of twelve at Wolverhampton last time out. With further improvement still to come he is sure to be in the shake up. Coole Dodger is a consistent type on the level but has to put a few disappointing runs over obstacles behind him. If he can be forgiven those poor performances and he can return to his form at Sandown on his latest run on the level when finishing second to The Hoofer then he would need to be considered seriously. But for the winner we return to Sabre Light.
