    Verdict

This looks like the right sort of trip for Jetfire and Paco Belle was not disgraced on debut but the runner for Godolphin, NAJOUM, is our pick narrowly ahead of fellow debut runner Jaaryah. The selection has an interesting pedigree and is a half sister to five winners in the USA. Saeed Bin Suroor has a fantastic record at this course in the last five seasons with a 36% strike rate. Given these two factors we give the vote to Najoum to win the contest. Jaaryah also catches the eye in terms of newcomers. The Michael Jarvis trained filly may prefer a longer trip over time but we will watch her on first outing. Richard Hannon has a really good record with his juveniles and this looks the right sort of distance for his young filly Paco Belle. Sukhothai will need to come on a lot after a disappointing debut and is opposed. Plenty of unexposed types in with a chance but we give a tentative nod to Najoum to put in a winning run.
