      Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute's Adversity made a very pleasing debut and can go one better this afternoon, Mafioso and Arabian Spirit look to be the obvious dangers. The selection, owned by Sir Alex Ferguson, made his debut in a decent enough race at Lingfield won by Sky Dive. He only went down by a length and with improvement to come he should be a good thing here. Mafioso is improving with racing and wasn't beaten far last time out, he should be there at the finish. Arabian Spirit is a simlar type and is another that should be vying for some place money. Media Stars is the only newcomer and should be watched closely in the betting, but Adversity, with the all-weather experience, should be the one to colect first prize today.
