Verdict

Cat O'Mountain wears Godolphin's first colours and will have benefited for his debut fourth at Newmarket while Keep Calm and Storming are others expected to finish closer on the back of improved recent efforts. Contradict should be suited by the step up in trip after failing to land the odds at Wolverhampton and a few of the newcomers are worth a second glance. They include the Gosden colt Manazel and Royal Lodge entry Swing Easy but CHIEF HAVOC makes most appeal. Jeremy Noseda's 325,000 dollar purchase is in both the Dewhurst and Racing Post Trophy and may well be good enough to land a competitive maiden at the first time of asking.
