    Verdict

Hollow Jo may be able to defy his penalty but After The Show is on a winning mark whilst the consistent Kempsey looks sure to be there or thereabouts again. John Jenkins's veteran came with a strong run to get up by a neck from Guto over course and distance last time and that form may not work out too badly as the runner-up appears to have been revitalised by a switch of yards. Kempsey was around two and a half lengths back in fourth on that occasion and should be in the mix again but, with only two successes to his name, cannot be supported. Support for Fast Freddie would bring him into the equation and it may not pay to read too much into his previous efforts here as he subsequently showed improved form once fitted with an eyeshield. After The Show is weighted to win and is running well enough but his losing streak has stretched beyond two years now so we'll take Hollow Jo to make his quick reappearance a winning one.
