Until Midnight battled his way to narrow victories here and at Lingfield and looks certain to make a bold bid for a hat-trick, though another 6lb rise makes this more difficult. CAPTAIN KENDALL was in excellent form early last year and gained his third victory in as many months from a 1lb higher mark than today. His recent form figures don't inspire confidence but he's been racing in better company and this should be within his capabilities. Dimitar, a dual winner at Dundalk and Wolverhampton, ran quite well on his only start at this track and should go well but the veteran Teen Ager could be better off back on Turf where he's 10lb better in.
