In depth

Verdict

Derwentwater continues to frustrate and returned a losing favourite for the third time in a row last week. He's sure to be thereabouts once again but the less exposed CAMACHOICE gets the vote. The latter has shown only modest form in maidens but better is expected on his handicap debut and Marco Botti's colt can open his account. Mudaawem was a big disappointment on his handicap bow in October and has his first start on the all-weather while neither Entrapping or Man In The Arena have shown any improvement for their slide down the weights.
