Verdict

THE CHEKA is well thought of by connections and having finished a more than respectable four-and-a-quarter lengths behind Paco Boy in April just about sets the standard in a tight listed contest. Since that run the pick has put up more respectable efforts at Group level and only found one too good in a similar race to this last time. Riggins is the highest rated here with William Buick looking an eye-catching jockey booking and has claims on his close up fifth in a Group two at Goodwood in July. Beauchamp Viceroy doesn't have to find much at the figures but his form doesn't seem to be at the level of the previous two mentioned while Atlantic Story saves his best for this track so couldn't be ruled out.
