Verdict

A typically lowbrow finale where SOVEREIGNTY is put forward to minimal levels of confidence. Dean Ivory's charge has won previously over course-and-distance though can tend to pull hard. The draw of six might just help to settle him. Mr Chocolate Drop is modest though honest and should give supporters a run for their money. Al Aqabah is tried in blinkers having showed relatively well last time out. Woolston Ferry is workmanlike though unspectacular. Munich seems a light of the former horse who was winning handicaps in Ireland a couple of seasons ago. Know No Fear holds no secrets from the handicapper but Kieren Fallon's booking has to be a positive in any book. Queastor has taken a massive dive in the ratings after a poor campaign but on the positive, Tom Dascombe did at least send out a winner the other day.
