    Verdict

Gilded and Granny Peel are interesting newcomers but the advantage of having raced previously should not be underestimated and the vote goes to Urban Warrior, who is taken to confirm Lingfield superiority over Sad Times. The selection got going too late when chasing home Bazroy, with Sad Times well held in sixth, in similar grade on Friday but should have learned from that experience and is taken to go one better today. Rod Millman did well with his juveniles last term so Il Palio would have to be respected first time out along with Piccolo Prezzo, although his yard is not known for their great success with two-year-old newcomers. Richard Hannon has plenty though and his representative Gilded, who is out of a half-sister to the speedy Tumbleweed Ridge, has to be respected. Kevin Ryan's Granny Peel is another worthy of respect but Urban Warrior has vital experience and that may just make the difference.
