Verdict

FEARLESS LAD makes his debut over this trip but stayed on so strongly when scoring over a furlong shorter here last time that he could even do better and can go in again. Maison Brillet is on exactly the same mark as when successful at Lingfield a year ago and gave notice of an imminent return to the winner's enclosure there a couple of weeks ago. Lisahane Bog hasn't won for a very long time but has dropped to a fair mark as a consequence and has performed with credit on his two latest starts on this track. Silk Route is lightly-raced and still a maiden but has shown some promise and should be capable of winning races this year.
