Verdict

CAT O'MOUNTAIN bounced back with a win over track and trip earlier in the month and can defy a 5lb rise in this with doubts surrounding his main rivals. Ajmany couldn't cope with a rise in class last time and is 7lb higher than his earlier Newmarket victory while Marju's Quest has won a couple of lowly handicaps and will find life tougher after a10lb hike in the weights. Vital Evidence, Savanna La Mar and Masquerading are all on recovery missions having ran shockers last time and the consistent Ningara makes more appeal as he steps up in trip.
