Verdict

All eyes will be on PEDDLERS CROSS here as he has his first start since disappointing in a Grade 2 over fences at last year's Cheltenham Festival. Donald McCain's eight-year-old made Hurricane Fly pull out all the stops in the 2011 Champion Hurdle and has won a couple of Grade 1s over timber so is the one to beat here if fully wound-up. Salden Licht may be the danger as he was a decent sort on the Flat and over hurdles and has been making a favourable impression over fences lately, though Megastar won a 1m4f maiden on the Polytrack at Lingfield two weeks ago and also has plenty of pace. Sam Winner is likely to get outpaced so front-running chaser Morestead may be the pick of the remainder if allowed to dictate matters.
