Verdict

PLENTY O'TOOLE went into many notebooks last year with a decent run at the course in defeat and while connections have had to be patient, it can be rewarded tonight. Rain On The Wind has plenty of early pace and can be relied upon to set the fractions. Bell's Ocean has a very interesting jockey booking and he would be a player if he can translate some of his Southwell Fibresand form to this surface. Sweet Secret is still a maiden though the presence of Richard Hughes at the track at such a late hour is enough to suggest that connections are hopeful on this occasion.
