Verdict

Decent hurdler I Have Dreamed was impressive at Huntingdon but he may not have beaten a lot and so it may pay to side with YOU'RE THE TOP. Nicky Henderson's gelding was very progressive over hurdles, winning three times after falling at Cheltenham in January. He is quickly sent over fences, has the benefit of a recent run under his belt, and is fancied to be hard to beat. Epidavros is an intriguing contender; he has been off the track for a while but he beat Giorgio Quercus at Auteuil last year and that gives his form a solid look. Kanad ran well behind Somersby at Warwick and should have come on for the run; he's an interesting contender as he has shown some very good form at this time of year before. Gary Moore is strongly represented with Cockatoo and I Have Dreamed; the former makes his chasing debut today and has the scope to improve for fences, whilst the latter is penalised for his win last time out and that often finds the novices out. Also carrying a penalty is Henry Daly's Beherayn; he was well-held at Worcester last time out and needs to step up on that form. An interesting clash but the classiest horse in the line-up could be You're The Top.
