In depth

Verdict

LOOBY LOO can get punters off to a good start and she gets the vote over Edith's Boy and Roodee King. Peter Chapple-Hyam's newcomer will not have to be anything special to make a winning racecourse debut here as those who have previous experience look a pretty moderate bunch. She catches the eye on breeding, the yard are in fair form and she has the best of the draw so if the market speaks in her favour then she would have to hold a decent chance. Edith's Boy looks the obvious danger as he has the best form on show and the yard are in sparkling form. He ran well in defeat last time when he was only narrowly beaten by Mythical Blue and a reproduction of that effort would give him a big chance. Roodee King went close at Catterick back in July but he failed to build on that last time when he finished down the field at Lingfield and he has a bit to prove off the back of that disappointing effort. Rapanui Belle has a decent draw but she has yet to win in 17 previous attempts and she may have to settle for a place at best today. If the market vibes are positive then it should pay to side with the newcomer Looby Loo.
