Verdict

Three stand out off the card here and they should make it a very competitive contest with BANJAXED GIRL just getting the vote. Nigel Twiston-Davies is represented by both her and Amber Brook, with the latter, a very talented mare, having been a shade disappointing at Wetherby last time and the former preferred for her consistency. There is no doubt that Amber Brook will appreciate the return to three miles, which might be enough to see her win. However, her stablemate is untried and therefore unexposed over this far, goes on any ground, and remains a potential improver, so she may be able to concede weight and win. Carole's Legacy is very much a danger. She goes well fresh, stays extremely well and is feared.
