Verdict

None of these have ever won on the course but SOLVANNA has run well here in the past and managed to lose her maiden tag at Lingfield last month for which a 5lb rise may not be enough to prevent a follow-up. Pencombe was beaten a distance at Wolverhampton though was impeded at halfway and can do much better while Posh Boy has run poorly since narrowly beating Exclusion at Lingfield. Estibdaad showed a bit more promise here last time though that was over a mile and this is a marked step-up in distance. Hero's Story was beaten 15l when runner-up to Ronaldhino at Salisbury but didn't enjoy the very heavy ground. Casa Tua was racing over a wholly inadequate trip on her debut for David O'Meara after arriving from France and the North Yorkshire trainer will find a race for her in due course.
