Verdict

Rio Tinto has claims having scored over a mile here last time, but had earlier finished a couple of lengths behind JODAWES when the latter was fifth at Folkestone. John Best's charge has won over a shorter trip here and off only a 1lb higher mark today, he gets the nod. Striding Edge, Commerce and Silverglas are similar in that they have the form to figure if at their best, though all three ran below par last time, while it's likely Height Of Summer is capable of better on her handicap debut.
