Verdict

National Trust has been very well placed to complete a hat-trick in minor events over hurdles and will find this much more difficult. Bermuda Boy had 19 runs on the Flat in France before a moderate debut for Paul Nicholls over timber at Wincanton in March. His Flat speed should stand him in good stead here as it will for First Smash, a winner in Germany in 2008 and placed in Ireland last year. Giorgio Quercus has won three times over timber but hasn't been seen since April of last year so the confirmed fitness and Flat speed of WADE FARM BILLY may see him home as he finished runner-up in a 1m5f maiden on this track earlier this month.
