In depth

Verdict

It was hardly surprising when Spanish Treasure made over £100,000 at the sales after an impressive debut success for Eddie Hales at Punchestown in April and he's obviously one to keep an eye on. Another Irish import, Blue Monster, is progressing nicely but hurdling looks more his game while Management could only keep on at one pace when fancied on the Polytrack at Lingfield last time. The Strawberry One has improved with each outing and could hardly have won more easily than she did at Towcester. With her allowances she will be difficult to beat though DARK LOVER looked potentially very useful when scoring over timber at Taunton and, though previously beaten in a couple of bumpers, looks a bright prospect.
