In depth

Verdict

We will go with Third Set here, with Play The Ball and Scot Love suggested as his biggest dangers. Third Set left a good impression when winning his maiden here last time and is taken to follow up on his handicap debut. Katiypour has enough ability to go well although he is at the top end of what he has achieved in terms of ratings. The trip might be too sharp for Killena Boy, while Purus will appreciate the return to the all-weather today and might get amongst the money. Chateau Nicol is well-weighted at best but the visor, which is back on today, will need to assist based on recent efforts if he is going to win. Play The Ball caught the eye staying on from off the pace when running here last time and is one to seriously consider from his current mark, while Scot Love's maiden win came here and it would be no surprise to see him go well. Finally, Titian Dancer seemed to improve for the drop to this trip last time and is another that cannot be entirely ruled out. Overall, though, we will stick with Third Set.
