Verdict

SI SENOR (NAP) was having his first start since May when easily landing a handicap here a couple of weeks ago. The assessor has hit him with a 10lb rise but he looks better than a 79-rated performer and can follow up. Weekendatbernies was making his handicap debut and having just his fourth start when scoring at Epsom so with just a 4lb rise to contend with he has to be on the short-list. Eye Contact looked a likely future winner when narrowly beaten over this trip at Nottingham and started odds-on in a four-runner race at Bath but found the 1m2f trip too far and finished last. Art Official completed a double at this time last season but has been struggling at the weights while Voyageofdiscovery was strongly fancied for a better race than this at Sandown though failed to fire.
