Verdict

Spellbind has had three runs at Newmarket but now looks a bit exposed after staying on at one pace last time. Aragosta made her debut last May and didn't reappear until a year later where she started favourite but could find no extra inside the final quarter. That was over a mile so this may prove to be her trip but the absence is a concern. It's hard to know what to make of NOBLE DESCENT, who was well supported when making her debut over 1m2f at Lingfield last month but was always struggling. More was obviously expected and the daughter of Pivotal is given the opportunity to prove that run all wrong. Tayma is from a very smart family of milers and it would be no great shock if she were to make a successful debut.
