Verdict

Semayyel is dropped in class and may finish closer but DIAMOND BELLE looked an improved filly on her belated return to action. She left the opposition trailing when landing a Redcar maiden by six lengths earlier this month and can follow-up on her handicap debut. Subtle Knife was beaten only a head at Lingfield last time but has gone up another 5lb for her troubles though all-weather debutant Macchiara has plenty of scope having finished second on her handicap bow last time. Self Centred and Way Too Hot have claims on last season's form but both arrive badly out of sorts.
