KAHRAYN is the suggestion in a race where a good number merit more than cursory inspection. Asides from Fade To Grey and King Gabriel it'll also be worth casting an eye over Polyfast, Moshahed and Bertenbar. The last named makes his handicap bow with Richard Johnson in the plate for the first time and may be capable of improving on the form that he's shown to date whilst Moshahed may be able to step up on the form that he showed for his previous connections. Polyfast has been a bitter disappointment but can't be ruled out of this and nor can Key Cutter and Fade To Grey who move into handicap company on the back of maiden successes. King Gabriel also won last time out and a 9lb rise may not be enough to anchor him judging by the ease with which he won but we'll take a chance with Alan King's runner who looks set for a profitable summer campaign. The son of Generous has yet to win a race but he came within a whisker of getting the better of Aimigayle last May and he should be in the mix if running up to that level. His two subsequent runs were disappointing but he may be best caught fresh so today could be the day to side with Kahrayn.
