Verdict

Amenable has shown no signs of profiting from a tumble down the weights while Steel City Boy has failed to build on his second to Littlecote Lady over track and trip last month in a couple of starts since. The latter is up only 2lb but is a rare winner and the same comment applies to Metropolitan Chief, who ended a two-year losing streak over 7f at Wolverhampton last time. The latter had earlier finished sixth to RIGHTCAR over course and distance and it's Peter Grayson's charge that gets the vote. He's run well again since on a couple of occasions at Wolverhampton and finished ahead of First Rebellion last week.
