Verdict

Buckland has claims on a couple of good efforts over today's trip at Ascot while recent 1m4f winners, Noble Gift and Desert Snow, have a shout if staying the trip. Flashman looks outclassed but Masterpaver has won over 1m6f and makes a quick reappearance after an outing over too short a distance at Lingfield last week. CHIBERTA KING won the Queen Alexandra over 2m6f at Royal Ascot last year so there are no doubts about his stamina. He's had just the one start this season in Listed company here a fortnight ago and is taken to bounce back in this.
