Verdict

Delft isn't out of this back on the Polytrack as he went close at Newmarket in July while Speightowns Kid was beaten less than a length over C&D on his penultimate start albeit in a lower grade. Impel has gone off the boil since scoring over track and trip and the same can be said of Dark Castle although the latter was having his first run since May at Haydock earlier this month. ERTIKAAN gave notice that he was set for a return to winning ways when runner-up at Bath last time and Ron Harris' charge makes most appeal in this.
