In depth

Verdict

A couple of these stand out on recent form. Arashi scored over track and trip last month and has ran well in a couple of subsequent starts but he has a bit to find with BOSTON BLUE on latest running. The latter also registered a course and distance win last month and Tony Carroll's charge is taken to go in again up against today's limited opposition. In fact, it's hard to make a strong case for any of the others unless the likes of Dream Prospector and Gladstone improve for the step up in trip given last August's Nottingham winner Phantom Reach has been beaten out of sight since.
