BYRD IN HAND found only one too good dropped into this lowly grade a fortnight ago. He may come good on this occasion. Chez Vrony had gone close on a couple of occasions at Wolverhampton before disappointing at this track and Claude Monet made the frame here before a poor effort on his latest start. Compton Silver is another with placed form this year but Zed Candy Girl actually won a race at Wolverhampton in January and is reunited with winning partner Luke Morris for this.
