In depth

Verdict

Mr Wickfield finished a couple of lengths ahead Ede's The Business when runner-up here last time. He should go close again and is preferred to his three stablemates, who all make their racecourse debut. New Colours may improve enough to get involved after a modest effort over track and trip but the vote goes to SPIRIT OR SOUL. Breeding suggests this longer trip will suit having made a promising start when third over 7f at Wolverhampton. The newcomer Sea Spear is worth noting for any support in the betting.
