Verdict

Mac Gille Eoin has the ability to win this if at his best, but he's difficult to predict, while Shifting Star's winning run came to an end at Brighton last month off his new mark. Barbieri still looks too high in the weights and hasn't raced since May, but Night Trade has claims if forgiven a poor recent run in heavy ground. She's also better off with SILENZIO on earlier running at Goodwood, but the latter is on the the upgrade and is taken to land his hat-trick with further progress on the cards. Sand Owl and Cardinal have been in better form of late and could make the frame.
